Regulation and risk management



Depaho Ltd (Depaho), a wholly owned subsidiary of Invesus Group Ltd (Invesus), which operates under the brand names of FXGM and GTCM, is registered under Cyprus Company Law and is regulated and supervised as a Cypriot Investment Firm (CIF) by the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission (CySEC) under Licence Number 161/11 and operates under the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Laws of 2007 to 2014 (Law 144(I)/2007, as amended).

Depaho operates in accordance with Cyprus’ implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) of the European Union. MiFID provides a harmonized regulatory environment for investment services across the European Economic Area.

The main objectives of MiFID are to enhance financial transparency, increase competition and offer greater consumer protection in investment services. 

Depaho is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) which covers clients of CIFs. The objective of the ICF is to secure claims by covered clients against CIFs through payment of compensation where the member of the ICF is unable to do so from its own resources. 

Depaho is required to disclose information relating to its capital and the risks that it is exposed to so as to promote market discipline. It is also required to disclose information relating to its Remuneration Policy.  

Depaho is a member of the Association of Cyprus International Investment Firms (ACIIF). The ACIIF is a representative body of CIFs. All members of the ACIIF are licensed and regulated by the CySEC.

Depaho operates its business in compliance with the financial standards set by applicable regulatory authorities, as set out below.
